Important Shipping Information
This company's primary package carrier is
Who is responsible for the package?
When you purchase an item(s) from us, we pack your purchase(s) in a box and arraign for FedEx or the US Postal Service to pick up these boxes. When the carrier takes possession of the package, a new arraignment takes place. We are no longer responsible for the package... What happens between taking possession of the package and final delivery is solely between the carrier and you.

If there is a problem, please contact us as soon as possible and we will instruct you on how too handle the problem. Although this company is not responsible for loss or damage, we will bend over backwards to help you with your claim against the carrier.

FedEx and PO Boxes

PO Box numbers may be still be used in some rural areas, but FedEx regulations require a physical address with street name and building/house number for delivery. Customers whom are unable to provide a valid street name and number shall be subject to a $10.00 FedEx Address Verification Surcharge per package when choosing FedEx as the carrier. If you provide us with a PO Box, no problem; just select Priority Mail instead.

Published Land Line telephone numbers are used for verification of delivery addresses.  Unpublished and Cell Numbers are not viable for address verification.  Failure to provide a viable telephone number can result in FedEx  Additional Handling Surcharges or even FedEx refusal to accept the packages for delivery.

Tracking Information

When you provide us with a good and real email address, we will do our best to see to it that you receive an email with package tracking information. If you provided us with an email and didn't receive that email, please check you email program's SPAM box for our email. Do to technical reasons beyond our control, sometimes our email appears as SPAM to your email programs. If you never look at the SPAM folder, you might miss our email and then call us for tracking information. Providing information about tracking a package is very time consuming and frustrating since we already sent you an email with the exact information you're looking for.

When you're in a hurry...

When you're in a hurry and need something that we sell for a party and time is critical, please call and tell us as soon as you can. We try to ship all order the next or same day. That's not always how it works out. Sometimes we run out of stock of an item and we wait for a new delivery in a few days. If you don't have a few days, you can then see the dilemma that that has caused. If you need something yesterday, call us last week.
FedEx Rates
FedEx charges are based upon published FedEx rates, the applicable FedEx Shipping Zone, the weight of the merchandise and packing material and any FedEx Accessorial Fees which include the residential delivery surcharge, delivery area surcharge for remote locations as well as any accessorial, insurance or special services which are required, deemed appropriate by FedEx or requested by the customer in addition to the fuel surcharge which is adjusted monthly.

Please note: All information on this web page is based upon Domestic FedEx Ground Service, Air and International services are also available at substantially higher prices.

Reverse or 3rd Party Billing for FedEx Shipments

Reverse billing means FedEx shipments can be charged to the customer's FedEx account. If you want to pay for a shipment instead of us, just let us know. FedEx has many different rates for different customers. Our rate tier may be higher or lower than yours. If using your FedEx account number will save you some money, we're all for it. If FedEx comes back to us for the fee, we will recharge your credit card what ever they charge us plus a $10.00 administration fee.

FedEx Accessorial Fees

FedEx Accessorial Fees are described by FedEx as "Value-Added Services".  While "Value-Added Services" is technically correct in that these services are often above and beyond the normal expected scope of business services (such as re-routing a package due to shipper labeling error), these service fees can be a source of great frustration when an unexpected fee is applied to one's invoice.

Common FedEx Ground "Value-Added Services"

Fuel Surcharge:  variable          See Fuel Surcharge for current rates
Saturday Delivery:  $15.00 (in addition to other charges)

Address Correction:  $10.00   If you provide us with an incorrect house number, street name, or zip code, FedEx will bill us $10.00 and we will pass that cost on to you. This company has paid that $10.00 about 100 times in the past without reimbursement and we cannot continue anymore. The cost will be passed on to you. This fee must make FedEx millions of dollars each year and we contributed about $1,000 so far. Please, please, please double check you delivery address. If you're not sure, please find out first. Improper addresses will also delay delivery of your package by as much as 10 -15 days.

Damages during shipping
Sometimes FedEx will attempt to waive the on-site inspection requirement with the consignee (customer receiving the goods) as general procedure for all claims in hopes of denying the claim or settling for a lesser value at a later date.  DO NOT waive your right to an on-site inspection. If you have digital camera, take few pictures with the FedEx driver looking on.

 Hidden (Concealed) Damages

Damages found after the customer accepts delivery of the goods is deemed Hidden or Concealed Damages.  To minimize problems with Concealed or Hidden Damage Claims, inspect the shipment carefully for damage or loss at the time of delivery.  If at all possible request the delivery driver to note any visible damage at the time of delivery. If Hidden or Concealed Damage does exist call the carrier within 7 days of the delivery date.

Save the damaged item and all packing materials in the original carton.  Liability for in transit damage is the responsibility of the carrier.  YOU MUST INITIATE CLAIMS PROCEDURES as we can not do this for you.  It is your responsibility to hold the carton and its contents until final resolution of the claim.

Contact FedEx 800-463-3339.  FedEx will ask for the tracking number listed on the label of the package, your address, the contents of the package, the portion of the package which was damaged and the value of the damaged goods.  The shipping information will be on the shipping label.  Regardless of the value of the damaged goods you MUST request an on-site inspection of your damage goods.
